DESCRIPTION:(For Adults | 8:45-9:45am) – \n“Not In Polite Company: Bi
blical Conversations About Controversial Topics”\nIn her book Alone Toge
ther\, Sherry Turkle proposes the idea that in our digital age we are “l
earning a way of feeling connected in which [we] have permission to think
only of [ourselves].” \nOne of the great gifts of being joined together
by Jesus Christ in His Church is that we would not just feel connected\,
but enjoy actual connection to Him and one another. In doing so\, we are a
ble to do so much more than merely “think for ourselves\,” but to have
our thinking shaped by God’s Word together.\nThis Spring we are launchi
ng a new Sunday Morning Studies series we are calling “Not In Polite Com
pany: Biblical Conversations About Controversial Topics”. Among the topi
cs we will engage this Spring are how the Bible informs our thinking about
politics and civic engagement\, gender and sexuality\, and what it looks
like to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in a pluralistic society. We hope
that you will join us for what promises to be a rich exploration of a var
iety of topics about which we have all had thoughts and formed opinions\,
but perhaps felt that they are not to be discussed “in polite company.
” So please join us as we explore them in the light of God’s Word and
 in conversation with fellow believers.\n--------------------------------\n
For 7th-12th Grade (9:00-9:45am): Fruit of the Spirit - Explore what it me
ans to live a life shaped by the Spirit. Each lesson focuses on one of the
  nine traits listed in Galatians 5:22-23—love\, joy\, peace\, patience\,
  kindness\, goodness\, faithfulness\, gentleness\, and self-control—whil
e helping students contrast these with the “works of the flesh.” Throu
gh practical application\, reflection\, and challenges\, students will dis
cover that true growth in these areas comes not by self-effort but by rely
ing on the Spirit’s power. Youth Sunday Morning Study gathers in the Bla
ckbird Room. Rebecca Healy\, Kit Standridge and Jon and Stephanie lead thi
 s study.  \n--------------------------------\nFor Children 4 and Up (9:0
0-9:45am): Join us for Teach Us to Worship/Exploring the Elements of Wors
hip – Worship is more than an event—it’s a conversation with God\,
a rhythm that unites His people in praise\, prayer\, and proclamation. Th
is is an immersive and interactive program designed to guide children into
a deeper understanding of corporate worship\, equipping them to engage me
aningfully as part of God’s covenant family.\n--------------------------
