Ignacio & Katie Reparaz

We started attending Christ Church in 2021. What brought us to the church was the solid Biblical teaching of the PCA. Now that we’re here, I’m also so thankful for the chance to serve alongside people who strive for excellence, a children’s ministry where kids of all ages are respected enough to be taught unwatered down truths of Scripture, and the beautiful people we can grow alongside who point us towards Jesus.

I moved from Dallas to Santa Fe on May 1, 2022 having visited Northern New Mexico for more than four decades. I knew of CCSF through Martin Ban and visited our church in August 2015 – Martin’s last Sunday before his family move to Dallas. In November 2019 God told me that time had come to move to Santa Fe and for two specific purposes: to be part of CCSF and to extend His hospitality to anyone needing it in Santa Fe. The church has warmly welcomed me with open arms since my move in 2022; I love the intimacy of the CCSF family and her heart for our City Different. God has been faithful and gracious in bringing me to this amazing place. I can truly say I love our church!

John & Jane Freeman

On our first Sunday, we heard the Gospel. Since that day, we have consistently heard the Gospel from the Old and New Testaments taught with grace and conviction. A famous pastor from the 19th century once said, “If you leave a church service thinking about how good the pastor was, you missed the mark. If you leave consumed with Christ, the pastor has been used of the Lord.” We have greatly benefited from the Christ-centered teaching at Christ Church Santa Fe. Please come and visit!

I started coming to Christ Church shortly after moving to Santa Fe in August 2022. The church community is one I wanted to join— one reflective of Biblical community. Not only are the members here fully devoted to Christ but also to one another, showing respect, grace, and support.

Anna Veers

Anna Veers knows that God had a hand in her move to Santa Fe.  While spending a year in Australia , she was offered a job as personal assistant for a Santa Fe family through mutual acquaintances.  Having grown up in Albuquerque, she jumped at the chance to move back to New Mexico.  When the family she was assisting decided to move back to Connecticut,  Anna had to choose where she wanted to live.  She says, “thanks to the community of Christ Church, Santa Fe was the obvious choice.”

Upon her arrival in Santa Fe, Anna found CCSF on the web — she says, “after attending just one Sunday I decided I didn’t need to church shop anywhere else.   Everyone was extremely welcoming and friendly and the preaching is Bible centered and challenges me every week.”

Having worked 3 years for the Inn of Five Graces here in Santa Fe, she is excited about starting her job with the newly renovated Bishops Lodge.  Anna loves to travel and looks forward to freedom to do that soon!  She’s loves West Coast Swing dancing but also enjoys quiet times at home reading and working jigsaw puzzles.

Anna is grateful that she was raised in a Christian household where “there was never a time when God was not a part of my life….I just wish He would send me an email explaining what I should be doing in my life!  The best I can do now is try to let God shine through every aspect of my life…”

Weigle Family

John and Karen Weigle and their, daughters Marie and Sarah joined Christ Church Santa Fe In 2016.  John ventured to Santa Fe first when he joined LANL as an engineer.  Karen moved to Santa Fe when they married in 2010.They enjoy all that Santa Fe offers in terms of outdoor activities and beauty:  hiking, fishing and traveling and, of course, the green chile.

Both John and Karen grew up in Christian homes.  They say, “we searched for the right church for our family for quite a while.  The warmth of the people, strength of the teaching and activities of the children’s ministry all drew us to Christ Church. ”  And they say God’s purpose for them is “to serve Him, His church, and our community.”  They are faithful attendees at worship, John has helped with children/youth on Thursday evenings and their girls are active in most if not all activities. Karen, through her teaching, is active in the community, and John serves on the board of Corazon de Dios (a Honduras mission organization) and Santa Fe Aquatics.  They are happy to call CCSF their church home.

Jennifer Brenner

New Mexico high school sweethearts, Drew and Jennifer Brenner honeymooned in Santa Fe in 1987,  and had always dreamed of living here. After 15 years in South Carolina, Drew found a job here with LANL and they relocated in 2002. They have four sons, two are married, and they are enjoying their one granddaughter, Eleanor.

Jennifer said, “We found CCSF the first month here in 2002 and became actively part of it. We love our church family.  We attended CCSF’s first service on August 11. 2002. We immediately felt excited and welcome and never looked back. My purpose is to glorify Him and enjoy Him forever.”  And, Jennifer is actively doing just that in her role as CCSF Director of Children and Youth.  Drew is also active – serving as an Elder.  Their children have been involved in the church whether participating in the children/youth programs or recently, son Jonah, served as Pastoral Intern prior to enrolling in Seminary spring 2021.
