SERVING IN THE WORLD

a

“The vision of the Global Missions Committee(GMC) is to support indigenous reproducing church planting movements across the globe. We do this through the means of substantial relational and financial support to a few strategic partners. Our vision drives our goals, priorities and values.”

The Christ Church Santa Fe Missions Committee is at the heart of outreach to the world for Christ Church Santa Fe. Our church goal is to give 10% of our offerings to benevolence activities. 70% of that is prayerfully managed by your Missions Committee.

Through global mission partners selected by the committee —  CCSF truly does impact the world.  Christ Church Santa Fe supports  several national and  international missions, providing assistance through prayer, finances and physical presence. Some of our partners in sharing Jesus Christ around the world are listed below.

Great Plains Gathering: Billings, Montana

Great Plains Gathering is a church plant of the PCA in Billings, MT among Native Americans. Their vision is to see “Jesus’s kingdom extend through gospel ministry in both word and deed in such a way that true hope and peace can flourish among the Indian people of Billings.” They share Jesus in a culturally authentic way that is distinctly Christian. This is done by teaching, counseling, assisting with living resources, and developing Christ centered programs that help all ages flourish. Great Plains Gathering had their first church service in their own church building in 2015 and have since developed a residency program for developing and training future indigenous leaders for local church ministry.

Global Outreach: East Africa

Specializing in indigenous church planting in small, rural communities, Global Outreach’s national key men planted 49 churches in East Africa in 2022. Concentrating in meeting the needs of education, shelter, nutrition, healthcare and economic development, Global Outreach has penetrated areas where no churches have existed and has established thriving Christian communities. Teaching reproductive discipleship, these new communities share the love of God to neighboring communities. Emphasis is placed on training ministry leaders from the areas they serve. Regional healthcare clinics have been built, water wells have been drilled, water catchment and filtration systems have been installed, schools have been constructed and assistance in economic development has been given to families.

Its ministry motto is “Ministry begins where the road ends.”
